Founded in 2012, Vanessa Martinelli Jewellery offers a completely unique take on fine jewellery by combining the finest colored stones with joyful designs and exceptional craftsmanship.

Vanessa grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of her hometown in Lugano, Switzerland. A move to Milan at the age of 18 to work as a model for major fashion houses opened her eyes to the world of design. After earning a bachelors degree in jewellery design at the prestigious Central Saint Martins in London, Vanessa followed her passion for the finest materials to the Gemmological Institute of America in New York where she earned a Graduate Gemologist degree.

excellence-magazine-vanessa-martinelliDrawn to the richness of Asian culture, Vanessa’s spent a year in Hong Kong at a luxury pearl house as the Creative Director and Chief Designer. When she returned to Europe, Vanessa continued to create iconic collections and bespoke pieces for one of the world’s leading diamond jewelers, DeBeers Diamond Jewellers, in London. Vanessa continued her career designing freelance for established jewellery and watch brands worldwide, growing her recognition in the industry and broadening her creative imagination.

Vanessa chose Geneva in 2012 as the location to launch her own fine jewellery line, Vanessa Martinelli. Vanessa Martinelli is a step towards complete freedom to create pieces that fully express a Swiss-Italian passion for life and beauty. Vanessa Martinelli jewellery is made for women who appreciate classical beauty of the highest quality and also seek out pieces that reflect their own unique positive energy. Vanessa’s clients live in Geneva, Tokyo, and New York, and love and are loyal to her creations: they seek out fine jewelry with a twist – innovative, modern, and unique designs of the highest quality. Vanessa is always designing with these women in mind who appreciate both exceptional artistry and a fresh perspective.
