Excellence Magazine, official media partner, is proud to announce a big success for the third edition of Torino Fashion Week (June 27-July 3). 3500 people attended the 8 sessions of the internationals fashion shows where there were 80 designers coming from China, South Africa, America, Asia, Europe and of course Italy and Turin.
Thanks to the excellent results, the Torino Fashion Week has laid the foundations for a collaboration with the China Fashion Week and the fashion world in South Africa while the Islamic Fashion and Design Council (IFDC), with its President Alia Khan, has stipulated a partnership with the Torino Fashion Week for the next 3 years. The Turin event, together with London Fashion Week, is in fact the only one chosen by Modest fashion for its fashion shows in Europe.
Last July 1st, during the closing ceremony of the Islamic fashion shows, the IFDC in partnership with Torino Fashion Week, The Shukran and Milano Fashion Library awarded the 3 best designers of Modest fashion (Chantique Brunei, Al Nisa Design, Bow Boutique) and the winner (Chantique Brunei) will be taking part in an off event at the Milan Fashion Week in September.
A similar success also for the Torino FashionMatch 2018 organized by Unioncamere Piemonte – as a partner of the Enterprise Europe Network and a member of the Sector Group Textile and Fashion – which was held from 28 June to 1 July and which registered the presence of 250 international companies. The workshops and bilateral meetings were organized in partnership with the PIF (Integrated Supply Chain Project) Clothing, Alta Gamma, Design and the Textile PIF supported by the Piedmont Region through the ERDF funds and implemented by the Foreign Center for Internationalization. Thanks to the collaboration with USARCI, the initiative has been hosted by the Fashion and Sport Association at the Lanificio of Turin in via Bologna 220, inside which there are prestigious showrooms of Agents of Commerce and numerous brands of the sector.
