An exceptional opening, in Sorrento, and a spectacular evening event, at the Grand Hôtel Moon Valley in Vico Equense, for the presentation of the new “Sorrente Nostalgie” perfume collection, created by Roman designer Mauro Lorenzi for his brand “Mauro Lorenzi Perfumes” (www.maurolorenziprofumi.com).
During the morning press conference at the Sorrento Town Hall, moderated by journalist Ciriaco Viggiano, the Mayor of Sorrento, Giuseppe Cuomo, and the President of the Hotel Federation of Campania, Costanzo Iaccarino, made two very interesting speeches which emphasized the quality and the originality of the two fragrances: L’Orange and La Mer.
“Excellent products like these – said Cuomo – help us promote the image of Sorrento in the world, because they enhance the characteristic elements of our land, such as citrus fruits and the sea“.
“The new collection by Mauro Lorenzi – added Iaccarino – helps strengthen our territorial brand and enhance the culture of hospitality that has made Sorrento one of the most popular tourist destinations around the world“.
Lorenzi then thanked the authorities for the reception and explained how his latest creations represent a heartfelt tribute to a place that he has loved for many years. “My creative and entrepreneurial vision has definitely been influenced by my feelings for this place: this is what helped me create these two persistent, unisex fragrances, made with natural essences. My perfumes are able to give tourists a strong olfactory memory of visiting this beautiful location and, at the same time, remind the locals of how wonderful it is to live in such a special place.“
A spectacular evening event, organized by “Mauro Lorenzi Profumi” in collaboration with some exceptional sponsors, concluded the day of celebrations in the exciting atmosphere of the enchanting Grand Hôtel Moon Valley in Vico Equense. More than two hundred selected guests, coming from Milan, Rome, Naples, and even from abroad, celebrated the launch of the two new fragrances with perfume tests, photo opportunities, music, dance and haute cuisine. Actress Debora Ostieri presented a concert by acclaimed soul singer Antonio Marino, who gained popularity thanks to talent shows like X-Factor and The Voice of Italy, and whose extraordinary voice enchanted the assisting audience. Finally, a cake fit for a king and decorated with the brand’s logo concluded the festivities, among many enthusiastic comments by personalities from the institutions, culture, cinema, tourism, entertainment and information worlds.
