Sleepwalking by Lisa Carletta

Category:

Sleepwalking, the photo serie by Lisa Carletta, is a perfect combination between a nightmare and a beautiful dream. The images refer to a dreamlike dimension where everything turns upside down and reality seems to be distorted. The bright and hypnotic colours drag in a fashion daydream, the contrast between red and yellow, the dresses and catwalk-look of the model contribute to give the impression of a precarious border between dream and common human insecurities and anxieties.

Lisa Carletta is a Fashion Photographer and Mixed Media Artist. She studied at Royal College of Art in London, where she lives. Recurring themes in her work are often taken from her personal life, in which memories of her own experiences take a central role. In doing so, she creates images that are whimsical and colorful and fabricates a fantasy world where nothing is what it seems.
