Great success for supercar innovations.
The 19th edition of the prestigious Top Marques Monaco supercar show, of which Excellence Magazine was a media partner, has concluded, marking another success for this not-to-be-missed event in the world of cars, watches and luxury goods. From 5th to 9th June, the Grimaldi Forum welcomed more than 29,000 visitors from all over the world to discover the latest innovations and creations from more than 200 exhibitors.
“Although specific information on the exact number of sales achieved at the show is not yet available, we can confirm that multiple brands made sales, even on the first evening,” said director Emeric Garcia.
“We’ve never had such a successful edition, and we’re very proud of this achievement. We would like to thank all our exhibitors, sponsors and partners for their confidence in Top Marques. We would also like to thank the visitors for coming to Monaco for this great supercar festival!”
World premieres and exclusives
Held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Top Marques once again confirmed its reputation as a launch pad for the most eagerly-awaited new models. Among the highlights of this year’s show were the presentation of several world premieres, including the LM1 supercar by Laffite Automobili, the GB110 by Bertone, the Porsche Macan Electric and the all-new Audi RS6 GT. These ground-breaking creations captured the attention of collectors, high-tech enthusiasts and the international media.
“I am very, very happy to have chosen Top Marques for my worldwide presentation of the Laffite LM1,” founder of Laffite Automobili, Bruno Laffite, said. “I am very satisfied with the show and the number and quality of visitors. We’ve had a lot of media feedback and a great deal of interest from influencers. I’ll be back next year.”
“A new edition with a host of new products, and increasingly exceptional products. Top Marques is a must-attend event for our customers,” added Manon Durrafourd, Communications and Marketing Director of the Monaco Luxury group.
An eco-responsible event
This year, Top Marques Monaco placed particular emphasis on sustainability and eco-responsible innovation with one in four supercars being either electric or hybrid.
Several exhibitors unveiled eco-friendly solutions, such as the Quantino by nanoFlowcell, the first battery-free electric supercar, the Artura Spider by McLaren, the Pininfarina Battista Edition Nino Farina, the Hybrid Lamborghini Urus and new products from BYD and Tesla, including the Cybertruck, which was a huge success on its first visit to the Principality. This move towards greener luxury was welcomed by visitors and industry professionals alike.
The show also featured a dazzling array of 20th-century vintage cars, including two Flèches d’Argent (1937 and 2003), American supercars from Fast N Classic and rare gems from Boutsen Classic Cars worth more than 17 million euros.
The show featured more than 70 collectors’ vehicles, including notable vintage models from Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Bugatti and Bentley, among others.
For Haute Horlogerie and Joaillerie enthusiasts, the show also highlighted a number of exceptional watches and jewellery, as well as motorbikes, superboats and art. Sales were confirmed in all sectors.
A first success for main sponsor zondacrypto
This 19th edition saw the return to the show of sponsors such as Dassault Aviation, Deco-Flamme and Jutheau Husson, as well as the inauguration of new ones such as zondacrypto and NFTouring.
Przemyslaw Kral, CEO of zondacrypto, said: “We were happily surprised by the number of visitors who came to our stand to discuss “crypto”. Top Marques is the best automotive event today, and now is also a place for people who are open to crypto. We are delighted with this cooperation. It’s been a very successful 5 days.”
A date has already been set for the 2025 edition, from May 7th to 11th, which promises to bring even more surprises and innovations. Top Marques Monaco continues to position itself as the global crossroads for excellence and innovation in the luxury sector.
