The next presentation at the Splendide Royal in Lugano on October 22nd.
With her inner light she welcomed all the participants: at the presentation of her autobiography. Chiara Boni involved and fascinated an attentive audience. The setting is that of Palazzo Verbania di Luino, a place of the soul of this Insubrian land. Among the audience, Luigi Lauro and John Gandolfi of Excellence Magazine who greatly appreciated the event.
The autobiographical book “Io che nasco immaginaria” can be read in one breath, so engaging as the plot of a film. The presentation took place in an interactive way with the participation of various voices from the institutions (Luigi Zocchi, Regione Lombardia) and from the associative world: Maria Grazia Tibiletti, President of Soroptimist International Club of Varese, Francesco Surace, Vice President of Rotary Club Luino Laveno Alto Verbano, Pierfrancesco Buchi, Officer of the Republic, Past President of the Luino Lions Club, Luca Sartorio Jurist and Entrepreneur, Luisa Cortese former Councilor for Equal Opportunities of the Province of Varese representing the States General of Women. The next appointment with Chiara, organized by Nicoletta Gianni, is scheduled in Lugano at the Hotel Splendide Royal on Tuesday 22nd October at 6.30 pm.
Chiara Boni, in Luino, in an aura of enchantment, conversed with great passion and, at times, emotion, developing various themes thanks to the questions asked, sources of inspiration. The importance of freedom that a human being can express in the world is a theme that has involved her life long. Her commitment to female figures was clearly outlined throughout the presentation: the organizing association, Le Sempiterne The Everlasting People, intended above all to give a tribute to her for the role of Cavaliere del Lavoro which she was awarded last spring by the President Sergio Mattarella.
Talented, with an incredible creative passion, Chiara has also explained her inclination for the world of fashion since she was a child. Just in the days when Paris fashion week was closing, the designer recalled her experience in the French capital where she went with her mother to the famous couturiers. “I remember the rehearsals at Givenchy very well” and “I understand why I remember Balenciaga’s hands and not his face: because he was a man who somehow put his passion forward, putting himself back”.
Brazilian designer Jenny Monteiro participated very carefully throughout the day. The questions followed one another among the many people who participated, including Professor Giulio Facchetti, Knight of the Republic, Professor at the University of Insubria, Giusy Giordano Past President and Valeria Valentini, Prefect of the Rotary Club Laveno Luino Alto Verbano, Cesare Rivolta, architect, Paola Vocaturo, Style and Creative Director Paola Milano Jewels, Vera Stigliano, Labor Consultant, Paolo Oldani, Product Manager Oldani Camiceria, Claudio De Silvestri, company executive, Luisa Savogin, entrepreneur and Deputy Mayor, the artist Chiara Spaggiari.
The deep sensitivity and generosity also appears in the attention to future generations: in the world of fashion there are important professional figures who disappear, young people focus too much attention only on the image of the designer. The suggestion is to create training courses that can develop new creativity in those “tasks” that are disappearing.
All day long, Valeria Tommaso of Bentley Milano presented the unique hand-painted Bentayga Hybrid Alpine Green that features different skylines of world-famous buildings such as New York, London, Paris, Rome, Milan, Venice, Tokyo and Hong Kong – each side of the car represents a different continent. The artwork was drawn from memory by Stephen Wiltshire, a Member of the Order of the British Empire, an autistic British architectural artist, known for his photographic memory that allows him to draw a landscape after seeing it only once.
An important initiative, with an audience united by a big heart, the symbol of Chiara Boni, a truly fantastic and imaginary woman to whom the association at the end paid homage with an amaranth-colored flowery heart by Dahra Lugano.
