Almost 60 years of art, almost 90 years of life
Michelangelo Pistoletto turns 90 in 2023 and, for the Chiostro del Bramante, the exhibition is an opportunity to be able to share the Master’s historical works with the public in dialogue with Renaissance architecture.
Also on display are the new productions, made ad hoc for the spaces of the Cloister.
Infinity is the exhibition of Michelangelo Pistoletto, curated by Danilo Eccher, which will be hosted, from March 18 to October 15, 2023, at the Chiostro del Bramante in Rome.
It is not a traditional exhibition, rather a story, an experience that through the symbolic works of Michelangelo Pistoletto (Biella, 1933) – from the historical to the most recent, from 1966 to 2023 – takes the visitor on an exciting journey into the poetics and the many worlds of one of the masters of contemporary art.
The exhibition of a single artist who however offers his many possibilities of being, of transforming himself, of portraying and representing himself, of narrating. The title Infinity is emblematic: because art is limitless.
A collective exhibition of a single artist – explains Danilo Eccher
