Some go… and some come. Milan Fashion Week Men’s Collection spring-summer 2024, scheduled for June 16-20, 2023, has unveiled its calendar.
Fashion Week kicks off Friday at 2 p.m. with Maison Valentino’s first men’s show in Milan at Università Statale. The day continues with shows by Billionaire, 1017 Alyx 9SM and Dsquared2. There are 22 fashion shows on the calendar, 31 presentations, 4 presentations by appointment, 5 digital contents and 13 events: in total 75 appointments with 70 of them physical. Zegna will close the physical fashion show calendar with a show at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, will be dedicated to digital content on the Cnmi platform.
Neil Barret will return to show in Milan with his men’s collection, so Ralph Lauren Purple Label returns to the city with a presentation. Andersson Bell will make his debut. J.W Anderson fond of Milan, will return to the runway, also with a post-show party. On the runway, also, 44 Label Group, brand founded by Berlin-based DJ Max Kobosil, and Indian designer Dhruv Kapoor. Must-see are the remarkable appointments of men’s fashion in Milan with Prada, Etro, MSGM, Dolce&Gabbana and Giorgio Armani.
Presentations and events during Milan Men’s Fashion Week
There are so many presentations this year. And among them we have names like Missoni, Tod’s, Brioni, Corneliani, Pal Zileri, MCM, Canali, Santoni and Harmont & Blaine. Several are also the cool parties and events organized by the various brands during this fashion week.
J.W Anderson, as already mentioned, will have a post-show party in collaboration with NSS on June 18. Dsquared2 will also have an after-show party from 9 p.m. on June 16. On the same day, Lardini will host, first a presentation, and then, a party inTriennale with a DJ set by Herny Bergmann & Patrice Baumel. Gucci, after several internal company changes, will not show in Milan. As an alternative, it will organize an exhibition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its famous Horsebit loafer at Spazio Maoicchi. The exhibition will be open to the public on June 17 and 18 upon registration.
Marcelo Burlon County of Milan will not participate to this year fashion week, but he will be present by organizing a party on June 17 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Among the events we have the Fashion film festival, founded and directed by Constanza Etro, which will mark its 9th edition, in collaboration with Cnmi and under the patronage of the City of Milan. Moschino and Fendi will not present their men’s collections during Milan Men’s Fashion Week. Fendi, however, will present the menswear collection during Pitti in Florence.
