Re Giorgio expands his presence in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The brand, previously already one of the protagonists of the ‘Salotto buono’ in Milan, now boasts a space dedicated not only to accessories, but to the complete offer of the Giorgio Armani men’s and women’s collection.
The shop, which then joins the boutique in via Sant’Andrea, is spread over an area of about 300 square meters spread over two floors and presents a concept specially designed by Giorgio Armani in collaboration with his team of architects in full compliance with the historical context in which it is inserted.
“With the central entrance and the two large, highly visible windows – explains the brand in a note -, it fits perfectly into the historic nineteenth-century building that houses it. Following a conservative and therefore sustainable intent, the boutique, unique of its kind, immediately captures the attention with the original, restored marble and mosaic floor that continues from the Gallery into the shop, in a surprising visual continuity, emphasized by the support elements that reflect the geometry of the decoration. From this point of view, the walls have the Brenta lime finish, typical of the period”.
The ground floor is dedicated to the women’s collection, eyewear and fragrances; a spiral staircase leads to the basement where the men’s clothing, accessories and eyewear collections are exhibited. The space is completed by furnishings from the Armani / Casa collection.
