The exclusive club celebrates its 10th anniversary at Borgo Egnazia.
The 10th anniversary of Supercar Owners Circle (SOC), the world’s most exclusive international community of supercar, hypercar, and classic car collectors, at Borgo Egnazia blew everyone’s minds, offering a one-of-a-kind experience to the lucky attendees. From September 12th to 15th, 2024, the heart of Puglia became an extraordinary stage for some of the world’s most exclusive cars, creating a unique fusion of luxury and speed.
Following the huge success of the inaugural event held in June in Andermatt, Switzerland, international collectors from over 15 countries, including Italy, Germany, Switzerland, the U.S., Kuwait, and Singapore, gathered for an unforgettable experience. Once again, SOC proved itself as the ultimate reference point for car enthusiasts, combining the elegance of a concours with the thrill of a rally.
“With over 50 dream supercars and hypercars, the on-road performances were nothing short of spectacular: two one-off Pagani models – the Pagani Zonda 760 MY Roadster and the one-of-a-kind Pagani Huayra Epitome – which won Best of Show – hit the road for the first time ever at the SOC weekend.” said Florian Lemberger, CEO and chairman of Supercar Owners Circle.
Also making an appearance were a Mercedes-AMG One, the iconic Ferrari SP3, several Koenigseggs, including the Jesko Absolut and Jesko Attack, and the Gordon Murray T.50, one of the first customer cars designed by the legendary Gordon Murray. The event also featured the famous YouTuber Shmee150, showing off his Zenvo TSR-S and Mercedes AMG GT Black Series.
Exclusive one-offs and cars of extraordinary beauty covered more than 500 km through the scenic roads of Puglia and Basilicata, taking the crews on an incredible journey through two UNESCO sites. From the enchanting trulli of Alberobello to a scenic lunch in historic Matera, all the way to Grottaglie-Taranto airport runway for a truly adrenaline-filled driving experience.
Lotus, the main automotive partner, amazed everyone with an exclusive presentation of a limited edition: only 10 units of the Lotus Emira “SOC 10 Year Anniversary Edition”. Other prestigious automotive partners also added to the glamour, including Pagani Automobili with its latest model, the Pagani Utopia; Dallara Automotive, represented by its CEO Andrea Pontremoli; and Naran Automotive with the prototype of the Naran Hypercar.
But it wasn’t just about breathtaking performances: Alcantara, the official lifestyle partner, offered a unique tactile and visual experience, showcasing the excellence of Italian luxury. The event was further supported by Corte Vetusto Mezcal, Mirai Flights, Acqua di Parma, and Marchesi Antinori S.p.A..
